HYDERABAD: University of Sindh wins yet another distinction to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German University of Technology (GUtech) at Muscat, Oman.
A communiqué issued on Wednesday said the SU Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat at present is in Muscat, Oman to participate as a keynote speaker in a 3-day International Start-up Workshop on “Ports and Trans-Ports: Evolution and Revolution(s) in the Indian Ocean World” jointly organised by German University of Technology and University of Sindh, Jamshoro at GUtech, History of Science Centre.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by VC-SU Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat and his counterpart Rector, German University of Technology, Muscat, Oman Prof Dr Michael Modigell.
This MoU features inter-alia a mutual desire to promote institutional cooperation, seeking of reciprocal benefits from the programs operative in the areas of science and technology at both (MoU) with German University of Technology (GUtech) in Oman and University of Sindh, Jamshoro Pakistan, exchange of faculty and students for higher studies, conferences and symposia, exchange of academic and research information, development of video conference links, planning of joint exploration of national and international funding opportunities and institutes with each other’s help and cooperation.
As per the signed MoU, Prof Dr Sarfaraz Hussain Solangi will represent University of Sindh, Jamshoro, whereas; Prof Dr Michael Jansen will represent German University of Technology for all implementation stages of the memorandum of understanding.
