KARACHI: ZAOQ, the authentic Pakistani cuisine chain of restaurants, opened another grand outlet in Karachi, this time at LuckyOne Mall, a statement said on Saturday.
The evening started with guests mingling at the Red Carpet hosted by Usman Mazhar, admiring the sophisticated décor and elegant ambience of the restaurant, while interacting with one another, it added.
ZAOQ CEO Ammar Hussain said, “We invite you to an entirely new dining experience, which shall not only be a treat for your taste buds, but a journey through the glorious heritage of the subcontinent.”
He expressed his gratitude to the large number of attendees at the launch event, including media, socialites and celebrities.
Chief guest on the occasion Sarwat Gilani performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony after which the buffet was opened for all the guests, the statement said.
Zaoq Restaurant now has two branches in Karachi and three in Doha. It’s first restaurant launched in 2009 in Doha, Qatar, offering for the first time genuine Pakistani cuisine in a formal ambience to those who appreciate elegance, refinement and good taste; hence, the name ZAOQ.
